We have diverse backgrounds, careers in a variety of industries, and offer unique perspectives on things going on in Helena. No matter our differences, one thing we all have in common is we call Helena home, and we adore living in Montana.

Lucy

Megan

Whitney

Whitney's a proud, fifth-generation Central Montanan with a passion for exploring the great outdoors. While attending Concordia College, she began to appreciate her Montana roots in an entirely new way and daydreamed of the day she would return to God's Country. After 9 years in Minnesota, that day came in 2016 when she and her husband moved to Helena. Her second day here, she hiked Mount Helena and has continued to explore with her husband and toddler son.

Favorite Helena Hotspot: The summit of Mount Helena - you can't beat those views!

Brittany

"The mountains are calling, and I must go" was more than a romanticized quote on a greeting card for Brittany. After visiting Montana on vacation, the wheels were set in motion and in 2017 Brittany uprooted her life and moved west. Born and raised in farm-town Indiana, Brittany felt right at home in Montana's wide open spaces, abundance of cowboy boots, and country music fans.

Gone Fishin': I caught my first rainbow trout this past winter ice fishing on Holter Lake.

Lucy

A Houston, TX native, Lucy attended and graduated from Clemson University. While there she met her fly-fishing fiance, who guides on the Missouri near Helena. Excited to see the place her fiance couldn't get enough of, Lucy spent a summer living and working in Craig and she quickly agreed she could see herself living in Montana after college. After graduation, she taught English in Spain (picture in San Sebastian) for a year before returning to Montana to call Helena her new home.

Helena Hangout: My favorite local brewery to frequent is Blackfoot, and I love their cream ale.

Julia

Julia left the west coast in 2011 to attend Montana Tech in Butte, Montana. During her time there she fell in love with Montana - especially the incredible people - and she's been happily here ever since. She has a passion for economic development and loves supporting local businesses. Julia considers herself a Montana adventurer, and when not engaged in one of her many projects, you can find her lakeside with her young family and two malamute huskies.

Favorite Helena Hotspot: Helena has one of the best kept secrets in the wake boarding world: Hauser Lake. Shhh..it's a secret though. Wink, wink.

Jenna

Jenna is a sassy, puppy loving, recent-ish transplant who hails from the cheese state (i.e. Wisconsin) and loves to laugh. In June of 2017, she packed up as many belongings as she could fit in a vehicle and drove over a thousand miles to start an uncertain but exciting new chapter in her life. Montana has warmly welcomed her and she couldn't be happier exploring this beautiful state!

Saturdays Are For: You can usually find me at Downdogs & Droughts at Ten Mile Brewery on the weekend.

Megan

A native Georgian, Megan is no stranger to outdoor adventures. After passing through Montana on their way to Yellowstone National Park, Megan and her husband fell in love with the Montana landscape. During the rest of their Pacific Northwest road trip, they couldn't get Montana out of their heads. When they returned to the south, they quickly decided to make the cross-country move in the fall of 2016, and Montana became home.

Sweets for the Sweet: I love getting a Turkish Delight from The Parrot (it makes me feel like I'm in Narnia).
